How this calculator works

Annual gross pay is calculated as hourly wage × hours per week × working weeks per year, and the same relationship in reverse when converting from an annual salary. Monthly gross is always annual ÷ 12; weekly gross reflects your own hours per week.

By default this calculator estimates gross pay only — it does not include Income Tax, National Insurance, pension or any other deductions.
